Tattoos by theme
Getting your dog or cat tattooed is a deeply personal way to keep them with you, whether they're still by your side or no longer here. A good portrait doesn't simply copy a photo: it captures the gaze, the expression and that small detail that makes them unique. In the gallery you'll see everything from realistic dog portraits with flowers on both forearms to a full-colour dachshund.
Every portrait on this page was tattooed at our studio in Barcelona, close to the Sagrada Familia. We work from your photos and design the piece with you, choosing the style, the framing and whether to add flowers, a name or something that reminds you of each other. For a portrait, it's best to book on WhatsApp and send us your photos in advance.

Many pet portraits begin as a tribute to an animal who has passed away, others as a celebration of one who still fills the house with life. Either way, the tattoo carries real emotional weight, so we take the time to understand who your companion is or was: their character, their favourite pose, the way they look at you.
Beyond the portrait itself, you can add meaningful elements: flowers, as in Damaris's dog with red roses or Karina's portraits with flowers; a name or a date; or a background of watercolour splashes, like the colour sheepdog portrait in our gallery. If you have more than one pet, they can share a single piece too, as in the realistic portrait of two cats.
The result depends largely on the photo you bring. Ideally it should be sharp, taken in good natural light at your pet's eye level, with the eyes, fur and ears clearly visible. Avoid flash, filters, distant shots or video stills, as they lose exactly the information we need to create a portrait that truly looks like them.
If you don't have a perfect shot, bring several: we can combine the face from one with the pose from another, or adjust the expression so it looks more like the way you remember them. For pets who are no longer here, we'll go through everything you have together and tell you honestly what level of detail those images allow.
Realism is the style closest to a photograph: every tuft of fur and every glint in the eye matters, as you'll see in Karina's portraits of two cats or of dogs with flowers on both forearms. Euge brings that precision to a smaller scale with a micro-realism dog portrait on a forearm, ideal if you want something subtle yet instantly recognisable.
Colour adds warmth and personality: Damaris shows it with the dachshund, the sheepdog with watercolour splashes and the dog surrounded by red roses. If you'd rather keep it simple, fine line sums up your pet in a silhouette or a few strokes, like Euge's cat and dog silhouettes with butterflies or Marta's dog and cat with a floral pattern. We'll advise you on the style that suits your idea and your photos.
Styles we do it in
A sharp photo in good natural light, taken at their eye level, where the eyes and fur are clearly visible. Send us the original file rather than a screenshot; if you're using WhatsApp, attach it as a document so it isn't compressed. If you have several, send them all and we'll choose together.
Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons people get a pet portrait. We'll go through the photos you've kept, even imperfect ones, and combine the best of each. If the image quality is limited, we'll suggest a style that works with it, such as fine line or a more illustrative portrait.
It depends on the level of detail you want. A realistic portrait needs room so the eyes and fur stay readable over the years, which is why it usually goes on the forearm, upper arm, calf or thigh. For something small, micro-realism or fine line work better. We'll recommend the minimum size for your portrait to age well.
Of course. We can bring several animals together in one piece, like the realistic portrait of two cats in the gallery, or pair a cat and dog with flowers or butterflies. You can also add a name, a date or a paw print. We design it with you so the composition feels balanced.
