Damaris works colour on a big scale: near-photographic portraits of pets and animals, flowers, characters and pieces with watercolour splashes that bring movement to the composition.

She is also behind some of the most Barcelona pieces in the studio, like animals built in trencadís, Gaudí’s colourful mosaic. She is at her best in medium and large pieces — forearm, arm, shoulder, thigh or back — where colour has room to shine.
